We actually can't keep him at the duplex, although he has been over to "visit" a couple of times.
No, we tried talking them into it a long time ago. This is more of a putting-the-cart-before-the-horse type situation. We are now looking at buying a house somewhere close by, or, if worse comes to worse, moving to an apartment where we can keep him.
You definitely should get a chance to play with him when he's "visiting".
